Second Pennsylvania man pleads guilty to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A second Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor. The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Pennsylvania State Police, Pittston Police, and the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office. The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Scranton man charged with sex trafficking of a minor

SCRANTON, Pa — A Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor. The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Pennsylvania State Police, Pittston Police and the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office.

Gregory Boone, 30, of Pittston, Pennsylvania, admitted to conspiring with others to recruit, harbor and transport minor females to engage in commercial sex acts for money during the summer of 2013 in Luzerne and Dauphin counties.

Missouri man pleads guilty to producing child pornography

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A southwestern Missouri man, who contacted a child victim on Facebook, pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to producing child pornography.

This guilty plea resulted from an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force and the Jasper County (Missouri) Sheriff's Department.

Texas man sentenced to 108 months for trading in child pornography

DALLAS — A suburban Dallas man, who came to the attention of Canadian authorities during an investigation into the distribution of child pornography, was sentenced Wednesday in federal court to nine years in prison for trading in child pornography.

This sentenced resulted from an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Christopher Briseno, 45, of Grand Prairie, Texas, was sentenced to 108 months in federal prison on one count of pandering of child pornography. Briseno previously pleaded guilty in May 2014.

Wilmington man pleads guilty to receipt of child pornography

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wilmington man pleaded guilty Wednesday to receipt of child pornography following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Todd Balo, 48, pleaded guilty before Chief United States District Judge James C. Dever, III, after a federal grand jury returned a criminal indictment against him Nov. 23, 2013.

School disk jockey sentenced to 40 years for sexually exploiting minors

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — As a result of a joint probe by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations and the Puerto Rico Crimes Against Children Task Force (PRCACTF), a former disc jockey for area high school parties was sentenced to serve 40 years in prison Aug. 28 in the District of Puerto Rico for producing child pornography.

Former Navy Reservist Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison for Sexual Exploitation of Multiple Minors to Produce Child Pornography

Anthony K. Mastrogiovanni, 30, of Crofton, Md., was sentenced today to serve 25 years in prison for sexually exploiting more than 30 male juveniles – ranging from 9 to 16 years of age – in Maryland and Louisiana to produce child pornography.

The sentence was announced by Acting Assistant Attorney General Mythili Raman of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein and Postal Inspector in Charge Gary R. Barksdale of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service’s Washington Division.

Michigan man profiled in HSI's Operation Predator app arrested

DETROIT – Less than 36 hours after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) rolled out a new Operation Predator smartphone app to solicit information from the public about wanted child predators, a Michigan man profiled in the app was arrested.

Mark Robert Austin was arrested Friday afternoon without incident by HSI and FBI special agents along with officers from the Michigan State Police in the Flint, Mich., area after numerous tips from the public were called in to the ICE tip line. Following the national and regional publicity generated by the app’s announcement, several members of the public called in tips indicating known areas Austin frequented.

West Texas man sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for possessing child pornography

LUBBOCK, Texas – A west Texas man was sentenced Friday to 10 years in federal prison and a 15-year term of supervised release, following his guilty plea in June to possessing child pornography.

This sentence was announced by U.S. Attorney Sarah R. Saldaña of the Northern District of Texas. This investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Big Spring Police Department.
