PADUCAH, Ky. – A Calloway County, Kentucky, man was charged by grand jury in a 27 count indictment with inducing minor victims to engage in sexually explicit conduct, inducing minor victims to produce visual depictions of that conduct which were then transmitted over the internet, and with inducing a minor to engage in commercial sex acts announced United States Attorney John E. Albuquerque Man Sentenced to Prison for Federal Child Pornography Charge

ALBUQUERQUE – Carl Weatherman, 34, of Albuquerque, N.M., was sentenced today in federal court in Santa Fe, N.M., to 75 months in prison for his conviction on a receipt of child pornography charge.  Weatherman will be on supervised release for ten years after completing his prison sentence.  He also will be required to register as a sex offender when he completes his prison sentence.

Minnesota Man Sentenced to 60 Months for Sexual Assault on U.S. Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan

A Minnesota man who worked at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan, was sentenced today to 60 months for sexual assault.  Assistant Attorney General Leslie R. Caldwell of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger of the District of Minnesota, Acting Executive Assistant Director Charles Warmuth of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service’s (NCIS) Pacific Operations and Special Agent in Charge Richard T. Thronton of the FBI’s Minneapolis Field Office made the announcement.

Norridgewock Man Sentenced to 65 Years for Child Exploitation and Pornography

Patrik Arsenault, 28, was sentenced in U.S. District Court by Judge John A. Woodcock Jr. to 65 years in prison, to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release for sexual exploitation of a minor and transportation, receipt and possession of child pornography U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced.  Arsenault pleaded guilty on July 8, 2014.

New Partnership with Facebook and Bing to Expand Reach of AMBER Alert System

Attorney General Eric Holder announced today that – as the nation observes National AMBER Alert Awareness Day – the Justice Department has partnered with Facebook and Bing to expand the reach of the AMBER Alert system.  Facebook will begin sending alerts to its members in designated search areas and Bing will allow users to access AMBER Alerts through its online tools.  Attorney General Holder continued to urge other companies and organizations to step forward and do their part by offering whatever assistance they can provide.

Convicted sex offender sentenced for sexually enticing a minor

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Palm Beach County man was sentenced Thursday to 235 months in prison for attempting to entice a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity. The sentence resulted from an investigation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Boynton Beach Police Department and the Office of the State Attorney in Palm Beach County.

Child pornography producer sentenced to 33 years in South Carolina

FLORENCE, S.C. — A South Carolina man was sentenced to 33 years in prison Monday for the production and possession of child pornography following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Kevin Michael Stehlik was sentenced by United States District Judge R. Bryan Harwell to 396 months imprisonment, to be followed by supervised release for life and restitution in the amount of $25,000.00.
