Roma, Texas - Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations officers at the Roma Port of Entry arrested a woman from Tennessee who was allegedly attempting to smuggle three Mexican national children into the United States. 

Hidalgo, Texas— Officers with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Hidalgo International Bridge arrested a Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico man wanted on charges for sexual assault of a minor on Friday. 

The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that on October 2, 2012, Terry Van Mead, 36, formerly of Rutland County, was sentenced to 130 months in prison, having pled guilty to charges of failing to register as sex offender and possession of stolen firearms. United States District Judge William K. Sessions, III, sitting in Burlington, also sentenced Mead to 5 years of supervised release following his prison sentence. 

FORT PIERCE, Fla. – A man from Indian River, Fla., was indicted and arraigned Friday for possession and distribution of child pornography. The charges resulted from an investigation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Phoenix Police Department and the Sebastian Police Department. 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A local man pleaded guilty Tuesday to an indictment charging him with possession of child pornography. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents investigated the case.
Christopher Daves, 25, of Albuquerque, N.M., pleaded guilty under a plea agreement with the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of New Mexico 

 CAMDEN, N.J. – A New Jersey man was charged Thursday with receiving and distributing child pornography, following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Gerrett Conover, 47, of Woolwich Township, N.J., is charged with one count of receipt and distribution of child pornography.
 According to court documents, HSI special agents in Boston discovered various individuals corresponding via the Internet about engaging in sexually explicit conduct with children. 

 ALEXANDRIA, Va. – A Springfield, Va., man was convicted Wednesday of posing online as an attractive teen girl to entice minor boys to take and send him sexually explicit images, several of which he sent to others online.
The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Washington, D.C.

SAN ANTONIO — A south Texas man was sentenced last week to 30 years in federal prison for distributing child pornography.

The sentence resulted from an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Charles LeRoy Earl, 65, of New Braunfels, Texas, appeared before U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia Sept. 20. Judge Garcia sentenced Earl to 360 months in prison and ordered him to serve a life-term of supervised release and to register as a sex offender. 

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — After a jury had been selected on the first day of trial, a former White County, Ga., deputy sheriff pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to charges of producing child pornography involving a 6-year-old girl. The investigation leading to this plea was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
Christopher Thomas Davis, 32, of Dahlonega, Ga., entered his plea during a hearing before U.S. Senior District Judge William C. O'Kelley. Davis was indicted on these charges by a federal grand jury Sept. 20, 2011. 

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — Following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), a Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.
Joseph Yingling, 40, of Osterburg, Pa., pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Kim R. Gibson to one count of possession of child pornography.
