U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers Stop Alleged Smuggling Attempt of Two Minor Children

Brownsville, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Brownsville and Matamoros International Bridge intercepted a woman for alleged violations of immigration law. The Unites States citizen allegedly attempted to facilitate the entry of two children into the United States without valid entry documents.

CBP Officers Find Stowaway in Red Chile Pepper Shipment

CBP agriculture specialists were initiating an examination of a commercial shipment of chile when they found a man sprawled out on top of the load.

Columbus, N.M. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Columbus port of entry made an unusual discovery Thursday afternoon. They found a man lying face down in a shipment of red chiles.


“CBP agriculture specialists were initiating an examination of a commercial shipment of chile when they found a man sprawled out on top of the load,” said Columbus Port Director Robert Reza. “There was a bottle of tequila next to him and he appeared to be highly intoxicated when we encountered the subject.”

Aircraft Deploy to California to Aid Firefighting Effort

BOISE, Idaho, Aug. 28, 2013 – The U.S. Forest Service, through the National Interagency Fire Center here, has ordered the three MAFFS aircraft operating at the Boise Air Tanker Base moved to McClellan Air Tanker base near Sacramento, Calif., to assist the wildland firefighting effort in the western United States.

In a request made Aug. 26, the Forest Service also extended the military Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System mission through Sept. 30.

Government Shutdown! Fire them

 Due to Congress’s failure to pass legislation to fund the government, We should fire them! Really If the government cant do their job we should fire them! All Of them! And it seems they keep getting worst at their job so next time you vote consider people that actually might earn their pay! Congress has two jobs to do: pass a budget and pay its bills. Yesterday, Congress failed to fulfill its responsibility to pass a budget and as a result, much of the Federal government will shut down.

Police Officer Sentenced in Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Marijuana

Steinbach, Acting Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Miami Field Office; Mark R. Trouville, Special Agent in Charge, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Miami Field Division; and J.D. Patterson, Acting Director, Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), announced that Lawrence Perez, of Hialeah Gardens, was sentenced yesterday to 151 months in prison.
